-Securing the quality of your electronics
Box Build or End-of-line test
We are one of Scandinavia most experienced experts in designing and manufacturing of turnkey systems for final EOL or Box Build testing of electronic devices.
Whether you need to test your device or EOL via connectors, terminals or wireless, DSE can provide you with specialized test expertise to get the optimal test solution.
Having more than 30 years’ experience, we know how to make systems for production environment, that are fast, stable and easy to maintain.
We are experts in designing and manufacturing EOL or Box Build test systems for functionality, signals, speed, communication, connections, components, performance, calibration, programming, regulation/compliance, validation..
Normally an End-of-line test is done by:
- Test of/via connectors
- Test via slide-in probes
- Wireless unit test (BLE, WiFi, Zigbee..)
- Safety test (HiPOT)
- Display test
Turnkey End-of-line test - manufactured inhouse!
We design and manufacture the complete turnkey test solutions inhouse. This is based on experienced engineers specialized in mechanics, safety, RF wireless, electronics and test software.
The processes are all under our ISO-9000 quality control and the systems comes with documentation and CE certification. Having all processes inhouse give our customers “flexibility under control”.
What is an End-of-line (EOL) Test?
The “final” product often consists of several sub units, like Power card, controller card and so on... The sub units (like PCBA’s) are normally tested in a PCBA test before final assembly. After final assembly, an End-of-line test is performed to make sure of the quality before packaging/shipment to end customer.
What is tested in an End-of-line (EOL) test?
As the sub units (like PCBA’s) normally already are tested before assembly of the final product under test, the EOL test will focus on testing the I/O’s like display, connectors, terminals, wireless connection, communication-lines, QR info and more. A HiPOT safety test can also be performed in the End-of-line test.
How do you make an “End-of-line (EOL) test”
Depending on the level of automation required, this is done manually or automatically. Either as a stand alone test station or as an integrated part of a production line.
